STEM heroines
About us, current cooperations, 19.06.2024

The MINT Heroines are a learning and leisure place for children and young people, especially girls and young women, between the ages of 10 and 16. Our headquarters is embedded in a modern co-working space with players from industry, medium-sized businesses and the start-up scene in Berlin's future location Siemensstadt².

Through experience-based learning and game-like elements, we create low-threshold and encouraging STEM learning and unleash STEM superpowers. Our content includes: robotics, programming, 3D printing and additive manufacturing, virtualization, engineering and research. We mix STEM with creativity, art, philosophy and promote independence and the development of one's own ideas.

We are an interface between schools and companies, between learning and working. The MINT heroine partner schools are currently the Carl-Friedrich-von-Siemens-Gymnasium, Käthe-Kollwitz-Gymnasium, Gesamtschule Immanuel Kant Falkensee, Mosaik-Gymnasium Oberhavel. On the corporate side, we have an initial cooperation with Siemens Professional Education (SPE), which is part of Siemens AG.

The MINT heroines are implemented jointly by WvSC eV, the TU Berlin and Berlin Realities GmbH. The project is funded as a MINT cluster by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) as part of extracurricular MINT education.
