What is MINT?

Do you know what MINT means? We asked adults and young people. Most of them said "yes" confidently and had a rough idea that these were the MINT subjects and that they had something to do with technology and so on.

When we asked what this abbreviation (acronym) actually meant, most people felt a bit uneasy and almost all engineering fans thought that the I must stand for it. Well, almost. We were generous. Many people also didn't want to believe that the T stands for technology.

Regardless, we are glad that most of them had a pretty good idea. For all the exactists and smarties:

M = Mathematics
I = Computer Science
N = Natural Sciences
T = Technology
