Mini-Bio: Dr. Hayat Sindi is the first woman from the Persian Gulf to receive a PhD in biotechnology, she is co-founder of non-profit Diagnostics for all and the i2 Institute for imagination and ingenuity, a UN Goodwill Ambassador and in 2013 was one of the first 30 women appointed to the Shura Council, which advises the Saudi Arabian king.
