At the headquarters of the STEM heroines, a day program awaits you with three different workshops, from which you will choose two:

1. Workshop: Future Lab \u2013 Artifacts from the other end of the universe<\/strong><\/p>\n

2nd Workshop: Hollywood is counting on you \u2013 Become a film editing expert!<\/strong><\/p>\n

3rd Workshop: Light up \u2013 Design your own 3D printed lamp<\/strong><\/p>\n

On site, you will choose two of the workshops mentioned above that you would like to attend. After an introductory phase, you will begin the practical exercises. The event will conclude with a reflection phase and some small gifts from us.\u00a0<\/p>\n

You will receive final information about the schedule and meeting point by email one day before Girls'Day.<\/p>\n

1) Future Lab \u2013 Artifacts from the other end of the universe<\/strong><\/p>\n

Form a research team and uncover the secrets of strange artifacts.<\/p>\n

In this course, you'll discover mysterious objects that don't exist in the real world. They look familiar \u2013 but their function remains a mystery. Working together as a team, you'll embark on a creative journey of discovery: What era does the object come from? Who uses it? And what could it be for?<\/p>\n

Through storytelling, discussion, and speculation, you develop your own future scenarios. You learn to observe closely, ask questions, and establish connections between people, technology, and society \u2013 and perhaps that's the starting point for how you'll soon solve important questions about the future.<\/p>\n

This course combines imagination with technical thinking. You'll consider not only what an object could be, but also how and why it's used. This leads to discussions about technology, design, and the future, encouraging further thought. There's no right or wrong \u2013 just plenty of room for your own ideas, exchange, and creativity.<\/p>\n
