Tue. 12.05.2026 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Recommended age: 10-16 – for girls only In the Maker Lab, Headquarters A32 Rohrdamm 88 13629 Berlin
In this course, you'll design your very own mold using Tinkercad and then bring it to life with a 3D printer. You'll develop a design that perfectly suits you – whether cute, cool, minimalist, or really playful – and create a small negative mold into which soap, wax, or plaster can later be poured.
You'll learn how to combine, hollow out, and arrange shapes so they can be neatly filled and demolded later. This allows you to experiment, try things out, rethink your approach, and refine your ideas step by step.
If you like, you can even use your design afterwards in the soap-making workshop "Foam & Science – Your DIY Soap Lab" – or you can use it for your own DIY projects. A tool you can use again and again. And clearly: designed by you.
Note: You can use your self-designed mold in the course Foam & Science – Your DIY Soap Lab (Thursday, May 21, 2026, 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.). The courses can be combined, but each requires separate registration.
In this course you will learn
to creatively implement your ideas in Tinkercad
to build a mold so that it works well
how a 3D printer turns your design into a real object
how you can later use your form in a variety of ways
